This place is very nicely situated opposite the sea and on the end of the promenade conveniently situated for parking. There are always people sitting at the tables and it all looks very inviting. It is not our first visit snd we wanted to go somewhere with a view for a simple breakfast with my elderly mother. The waitress was very friendly and took our order without too much of a delay. I ordered 2 x toastadas for my husband and myself with just oil and cheese but no tomatoe. I ordered in Spanish and also we spoke in English responding when the waitress double checked our order in English. My mother had a mixed sandwich. When the order arrived my mother had to ask for milk for her coffee twice. Also they delivered 2 x toasted sandwiches and no toastada. Having lived in Spain for 15 years I think I am capable of ordering a toastada for breakfast and some coffees. After explaining to the waitress thet we had ordered 2 toastadas and 1 mixed sandwich she said she would be back in 2 minutes with the correct order. Unfortunately after a very long wait she came back with one toastada with melted cheese so basically it was a very poor looking cheese on toast. What we had ordered was toastada with oil and manchego. My toastada didn't arrive and the waitress eventually asked why I didn't want the melted cheese sandwhich. We said we will just have what was here it really doesn't matter now snd we ate what we had been given and were slightly amused although very miffed at the same time when our bill arrived which was very high. Seating area is pleasant and a lovely view of the sea but I've been along the Arenal in similar places for much better value. Waitress was nice and friendly.

I read a review that said "4.95 for a full English and cuppa " which I thought sounded like very good value. My friend and I stopped there for a cool drink. She had iced coffee which was nearly €6 and I had a chocolate milkshake which was nearly €7.

I thought my milkshake was going to be something special for that price, but no, nothing special, in fact very underwhelming. It was just a plain choclety milky drink which for the price, was an absolute rip off. In my opinion it should have been €3. My friend was not impressed with her drink either. The only good thing is the view. However, we came to the bar full of Spanish people and the only ones speaking English we felt as we were treated totally differently as the others. We wanted to order some food but no one ever came to us after ordering a bottle of wine even though we mentioned it twice that we actually wanted to eat something. The waitress didn’t even look at us and when we asked for the bill she just threw it on the table and was speaking on the phone with someone just like we were invisible.
