Weekend away in Javea & reserved a table for Sat 22/7 as first visit 2 weeks previously was super. Had the same special - baked fillet of turbot with a butter & caper sauce - served with mix of fresh veg - small roast spuds, carrots, courgettes, broccoli, cauliflower. Friend had a very large fillet steak cooked as requested. Dessert was sooo good that I forgot to take a photo until almost finished - homemade 3 choc mousse. We loved it, went there after cinema, which was 6€ each, then just fancied a bite to eat, nothing 3 course. The walk along Javea's port area is a delight, and we happened on Piri Piri. Great choice! nice tapas menu, nice waiters and owner, who came out, and explained what was on the menu, and specials not listed. Service was prompt and quality, very good. I am not a ‘local guide’ posting so please take note. We were early for Spain 7.30pm. Unfortunately it was so disappointing we had to laugh it off for the sake of the evening and kids. It feels like a con trading on the great name of the previous owners. Sad and I am generous in my reviews. Expensive and really not a place to enjoy. Couldn’t leave fast enough, bar the sea view.
