What a lovely place to visit & eat. Really attentive host & hostess but "not in your face"! Having recently had surgery my appetite has not been great but Ganesh offers a very wide range of foods from around the world with their own take on the recipes. Neither of us had a starter and chose very different meals. Mine was the chicken tikka marsala with basmati rice. This wasn't your dayglow red stuff often served in UK but a beautiful layered taste of warm spices in a pale thick smooth vegetable sauce with pieces of chicken breast with perfectly cooked basmati. I couldn't clear my dish but definitely ate more than I have in weeks. My husband had the fish (hake) & chips. Big chunky chips with some skin on cooked fluffy inside & crisp outside, the fish was the best he'd tasted, white & flakey in the thinnest crispiest batter. Totally delicious, I had a ginger beer that was fiery as I like it and he had the beer. Total bill 30€ and worth every cent! Thank you & long may you thrive Ganesh restaurant, we will be back on our next...
Read moreWhat an incredible experience that was! We have found this place by accident, when on the road. We rerouted after seeing there's a good choice of vegan options, and it was the best choice. Not only did we find amazing options for our vegan friend, the rest of the group was equally satisfied with their food choices. Everything is freshly prepared and made from best ingredients. Nachos and Samosas made an awesome starter. The the tofu curry was incredibly well balanced and flavoursome. I finished the meal off with beautifully delicious baklava (not vegan, but worth it!). We had a good chat with the owner of the place and he transmitted full passion and love for the food he was serving. We've added Ganesh Xativa to our favourites and we will make sure to pass by any time we cross paths with this part of Spain in the...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant and ordered the tuna, which came with two spoonfuls of couscous. We also got a dish that was supposed to be “fish and chips” done in an “English style,” with “perfectly fried” potatoes. In reality, what we got were some overcooked or undercooked potato wedges of the worst quality. I lived in England for eight years, and even a 10-pound street takeaway serves better fish and chips than this. It was just dreadful. The fish seemed like some kind of frozen fish patty from a packet, served with these awful potato slices and a tiny bit of sauce and a single lemon wedge. Honestly, any random street place in England makes fish far better than this restaurant. I want to write a review that says it was just disgusting—dried-out potato pieces and fish seemed from a packet. It was...
