Restaurante Quijote — Restaurant in Xeraco

The restaurant rapidly filled with well dressed locals, which is obviously a good sign. The service was good. We had the leg of suckling lamb (a whole leg, from shoulder to ankle) which was delicious with a crispy skin. We missed the deserts as we were over full but seeing the pancakes filled with ice cream and cream, covered in dark chocolate sauce, I regretted that decision. If we stayed in Xeraco again we would certainly return to this excellent restaurant. I can most heartily recommend this...

Had the menu del Dia which was excellent and great value. Sat outside with our dog. Waiter was great. Loved it so we went back for another lunch. Kitchen closes at 4 and we got there at 15.55. No problem. I had the tuna which was perfectly cooked. Same great waiter. He left the bottle of wine on the table and of course we finished it. La comida está bastante aceptable, el trato es pesimo. Mal ambiente, trato muy brusco hacia los clientes y gritos entre ellos. Tenso, te hacen sentir realmente incómodo. Algunas faltas de educación que no esperas en ningún sitio que vayas a comer pagando, como que en lugar de dejar las cosas sobre la mesa, las tiren. O como que tenga que salir de ti pedirles que cambien los cubiertos cuando se les caen delante tuya y te los pongan del suelo como si nada. Además, tras mostrar que estabanos realmente incomodos por nuestra actitud(nada deliberado), pedi otra cerveza y sabía completamente diferente de la primera, mucho mas fuerte , como si hubieran echado alcohol etílico, y no fue solo mi impresión, si no la de varios comensales que estabamos. No aseguro que haya pasado, si no que lo parecía, puede ser que fuera el final del barril o algo así y por eso supiera pésimo, pero...

Esperando a ver si tengo que denunciar a esta gente o no, en cualquier caso, no vuelvo...
