Visited this cafe on Saturday around 1 hour before they closed. It had the potential to be a really lovely place but unfortunately the staff really let it down. We were greeted with an unwelcome attitude, the service lady was very snappy & irritable, it was clear she wanted to rush us & didn’t want us there. It was a really uncomfortable & an unnecessary experience that didn’t need to happen that way. There were at least 3 tables full of local Spanish customers sat in the main courtyard who were taking their their with their food & drinks, but myself & my husband only came in for a quick coffee & were made to feel like our custom wasn’t good enough or was too much effort. It was really rubbish & I usually don’t write reviews but this was an experience I didn’t want to ignore. It’s a shame as it was a pretty place but it had such a hostile, snooty, judgement & unwelcoming atmosphere made...

We came after we hiked and we were very tired and hungry. First we waited for SOMEONE to notice us, then to bring us a menu. Then the waitress told us she only serves drinks and other friends serve food. When another waitress came to our table she REFUSED to speak English (she told us SPEAK SPANISH this is Spain!!) We should have gone then! The food was not worth waiting for. Oh, and the men's toilet was locked so we didn't have a place to wash our hands. Rude and very poor atmosphere. The waitress should know better. 🎯🤏

*Ugly of you to try to call me a liar too. On top of everything. Perhaps it would be better to talk to the staff and teach them good manners and hospitality...

A nice place off the main road. Three of us were going to stop here for a meal and a drink. However on arrival we were "greeted" by an elderly woman who ran around shrieking that the "toilets are only for customers not tourists who walk in off the street" She then proceeded to fetch a key and lock the toilets. I have travelled all over the world and eaten in all types of places from high end restaurants in Tokyo to back street dives in Costa Rica I have never ever had such a poor welcome in my life. We sat down and just had a coffee - made our excuses and left. Not good and I would not return. First impressions matter and the old woman with the attitude needs a good talking...

Super friendly and efficient service. Good assortment of items available on the menu. Quality dishes made with care.  Good honest simple food.  The meatballs were great and in a delicious tomato sauce. The mixed croquettes of chicken, fish,  spinach and ham and cheese were good.  Mini chorizo sizzling in a pan delicious and excellent garlic bread.  The prawns in oil were plentiful but perhaps could've done with a touch more chilli. The nut cake was moist and the Apple crumble slice was very good. The local beers and wine I also recommend. The American IPA was really nice. Nice little courtyard and reasonable prices.  EUR55 for 7 dishes and 4 drinks.
