Iemanja Bistró — Restaurant in Yaiza

First time visiting the restaurant. Welcome was very warm and welcoming and seated immediately. Only one other table taken as far as I could see which was strange as this restaurant is so highly rated. Anyway onto the food. Ordered the Camarao Encapotado which were beautifully cooked and served with a lightly spiced dip. Mains was the Picana served "medio rojo" and was again beautifully cooked and presented with a salad and the yuka fries. If you are staying in Playa Blanca and don't go here to eat you seriously missing out!. It may not be on the seafront but make the trip 5 mins up the road out of town. The food is modern Brazilian and is just incredible! tasty and different that the other local places. Amazing friendly service, don't be afraid to ask questions about the food, they even might bring you a sample to try!. We basically tried almost everything off the menu and it was the best meal out of all the places we ate at that week. The passionfruit dessert was a so good. First time visiting this restaurant and was not disappointed, from when you walk in and welcomed by the young lady, who was not only very friendly but explained each dish to us and was very accommodating to our needs. The food was was amazing, I had the Risoles to start, which were wonderful followed by the Moqueca de Camarão which was full of so much flavour, prawns cooked to perfection, I couldn't fault it.
