Absolutely loved it! There were 2 of us celiac and 2 of us not, and the 2 who's weren't couldn't tell the difference. The pizza was the most authentic like Italian pizzas I've had in Italy (when I ate gluten) whilst other gluten free pizzas in Zaragoza we like and love - they're not Italian in anyway. I had pepperoni picante which was simple and delicious (what I always choose in Italy) the pizza base was like that of pizzas baked in an authentic pizza oven with that slightly charred appearance and taste. Everything was delicious apart from the bread sticks which were very dry - this happens with gluten free baking sometimes. I think they should be served with olive oil or some dipping sauce in the future to avoid this. I did experience the smokey atmosphere others have mentioned, and it isn't the most pleasant but by no means did we need to evacuate the restaurant as others have described. I assume this is from the pizza oven (?) And maybe just some adjustment to the extraction fan - I noticed when the air con was stronger the smoke disappeared. It was so busy which was so nice to see, as truly you don't have to be celiac to enjoy the food here because it's so nice and you naturally feel less bloated with gluten free. Anyway. We will be back again and again, happy with not having anxiety about gluten cross...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful experience! Had dinner there for a few evenings: the food was amazing, in huge portions (rather for two, as lots of people were sharing a plate), the red wine was very good and the whole Italian ambiance was genuine: from the music, decorations and the recipes. The waiters were very engaging and above-the-norm polite, with Allan making us come back for a great experience -- a true customer service, topped with conversations in basic Spanish-English and a few rounds of limoncello at the end, on the house. Absolutely great evenings as a whole: we had olives as a starter and alcoholic+non-alcoholic digestives on the house, pizza 7 formaggi and pastas (Casalinga was delicious!). Worth coming back to Zaragoza only for this food and Allan's...
Read moreVery good Italian food in large portions. Thin crust pizza and pasta in rich sauces. Exquisite interior design and fast service. The waiter didn't speak English, but he was very patient and courteous while we fumbled our way with basic Spanish.
Update: had dinner here three nights in a row because it was so good and we were treated with great hospitality by Allan and the rest of the staff. He remembered our wine preferences and treated us to limoncello and a nice cocktail on our last night in Zaragoza....
