I had the most incredible experience at this charming gastropub located in the heart of Sigiriya! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, as well as the owner, who made me feel instantly at ease. It's clear that they genuinely care about their guests and take great pride in providing excellent service. The atmosphere is simply perfect, with a calming, vintage vibe that transports you to another time. The decor is thoughtfully designed, giving the space a cozy and welcoming feel that makes it an ideal place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the music. It adds such a wonderful touch to the experience. The playlist they choose really complements the peaceful ambiance and creates an atmosphere that's both relaxing and enjoyable. It's the kind of music that makes you want to stay a little longer, just soaking in the vibe.

If I could give this minus stars I would. The worse dining experience since we have been in sri lanka. We went because of the good reviews but we never experienced an ounce of those. It started of sitting us at a dirty table which was never refreshed and had rice and curry on the table cloth from the previous group and also not enough cutlery/glasses for our group- again never cleaned or refreshed. I understand restaurants are busy and I'm okay at sitting at an unprepared table , but at least clean it and make me feel like you want my business- its a good start. My partner ate his food with his hands in the end. We constantly had to call to order drinks instead of them checking in on us - a basic standard for restaurant service and for making money. Then we were told after we had ordered that our items were not available, which was fine as we understand these things happen. But when we reordered our new items and they were accepted, we had a different server come to us a while later that some of these also were not available- this was just a little much to happen twice and something which should be told to customers at the beginning when they sit down. We then decided on our order for a third time, almost an hour had gone past already, but then we waited another 30 minutes for food to arrive. Then finally 2 of the 3 dishes arrived , but not the 3rd, and it only arrived when the other 2 had finished their food. We had to gesture to them about the 3rd meal and it followed 5 minutes later- not the most relaxing dining experience. After we were finished noone came to check on us or clear our plates. Each time a new server was sent probably because of the issues - instead a manager or senior should have came to us which would show great customer service and a willingness to make it right, but thay never happened. We had to then go up to the desk to ask for the bill, but again it didn't arrive within 10 minutes- I'm not sure what took so much time as by now we were one of the few people left and when we went up to follow up for a second time for the bill they were all just chatting and on their phones. If one or two of the above had happened , it would have been okay, as we understand things can go wrong. However since so many things did go wrong and not at one point did we feel we were welcomed, apologised to or valued as customers , it just made the whole experience awful overall.
