Chiller House — Restaurant in Weligama

We visited the chiller house on a saturday evening at around 8pm and got the veggie kottu, potato soup, lemon juices and as a dessert we asked for a roti with both chocolate and coconut in. It was all SO good and freshly made! The young service lady was the sweetest and most attentive person we got to know until now during our time here in Sri Lanka. Can only recommend this place and its food! In Germany we say: Herzensempfehlung.

Tastey, homemade and seasoned to perfection. The food at chiller house focusses on real flavour and expert seasoning You may have a longer wait than normal but please appreciate it is a lovely lady and her family that are hand making your food. Small kitchen but often few people come the same time. Egg fried rice, roasted veg, chicken kottu, chicken noodles and the crispy chicken burger I can say are all 10/10. You can see we have eaten here many many times and that’s because it’s a lovely family...

The owner is a very kind and welcoming woman. For the New Year celebrations, she invited customers to her home to taste typical sweets. Open practically at any time, rooftop surrounded by greenery with plants and flowers outside the hustle and bustle. I used to come here to eat and work with my laptop. It has a very well stocked menu both local and not available for any variation. Very fair prices for the delicious food and the portions. I highly recommend trying it out. Thanks for everything,...
