Looking for a place to drink without getting deceived, this is the place. They have a cheap beer you can get. So here's the place you start your evening. Get here a bit earlier, sit down for a meal and then you start drinking. This is the only place you can pre-drink, otherwise you know it needs to happen at home. The food is a four, it tastes nice and is well put together. Do try it out. And expect a lot of people on the weekends in the late afternoon and evening. There'll be a buzz. Quiet restaurant in the south of Gävle, perfect to have a couple of beers with your friends.

The food is okay, you won't be disappointed with the wiener schnitzel or cold cut plate, but nothing that stands out or taste exceptional.

Stabil 1 av 5 i recensionen pga att maten håller okej standard. Det enda som håller någon form av standard. Att kalla något dylikt för ölstugan, är fel. De har öl, men varken stort eller bra sortiment öl. Ölstugan Gävle är stället du ska be om ”en stor stark” på och vara nöjd med den ljusa lager av billigare modell som du blir serverad. På helgkväller förvandlas stället till ett troget fyllehak, där unga gärna hänger med tanke på de fördelaktiga priserna och det kaosiga klimatet som alltid träder kraft. Noll struktur och en hög osäkerhet är två av upplevelserna en fredagkväll vid 22 tiden.
