Konditori Lido Söder — Restaurant in Gävle kommun

Probably the nicest café in Gävle area. I rarely give 4 stars, but after visiting several times this café is worth a visit.

The place have an atmosphere of the old swedish "Konditori" from before 1970's, the interior design, choice of colors, furniture, mixed with old traditional cookies and cakes have stole my heart.

They offer both traditional swedish cookies and cakes as well as modern variants. I've so far only sampled a fraction of their offering but it was up to my expectations.

It shows that the staff loves working there, happy smiles and good service.

This is a must-visit. Try out some baked goodies, sit down in the very back and take in the atmosphere and decorations. It's a perfect place for a Fika. Having coffee with a piece of sweet-tasting cake gives you clarity of mind, makes you think about useful things, and gives you positive energy if you are alone.
