Deeply disappointed with Masala Kitchen Gamlestan!!!

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Masala Kitchen Gamlestan due to the shockingly rude treatment from the waitress in entire Sweden/Gothenburg.

While I understand that restaurants can get busy and crowded and no one was at the entry point. We took an available table and have been waiting for 40 minutes for waitress to approach us. After long waiting time we managed to drag attention and calI the waitress to give the order. Once she came to our table the behaviour of the waitress was inexcusable. From the start, she seemed irritated. When we politely asked for taking order , she responded with an attitude that made us feel like we were an inconvenience and said that we have to wait at the entrance to be seated!!! We haven’t even start to complain about long waiting time, and instead of apologising, she acted like it was our fault and didn’t even try to fix the issue. The entrance has no sign which indicates that new visitors should wait for staff, we always used to come to Masala Kitchen for lunch and have a seat at the place we like the most. In response of this waitress said that we are “New” here. We often came to Masala Kitchen to enjoy our meal, not to be yelled at. As a customer I expect to be treated respectfully. Her rude behaviour and lack of basic respect were truly unacceptable. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before. It’s incredibly disappointing when a restaurant allows such unprofessional behaviour from its staff. No matter how good the food is, being treated this poorly ruins the entire experience. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff handles customer...

We visited the restaurant on Sunday evening with family and ordered Malai kofta, palak paneer, daal and Butter Naan. Taste was decent but the worst part is the hygiene factor. I got a long hair in the butter Naan and then the person was defending that it wasn't done intentionally and it can happen sometimes. Come on, no one does it intentionally and it is about maintaining the hygiene factor in the restaurant. The hair was embedded in the dough so it is certain that the person preparing the dough did not have their hairs covered which is basic hygiene norm for any restaurant.
