Very friendly service. Very tasty food, well portioned. Moderately priced. Worth your time and money.

We ate Gwambora, and Yassa, two dishes that were for us an explorative food adventure. The portions were satiating, very tasty, full of flavor and pleasantly arromatic. The personal were so very accomodating, we had not booked, but we were seated quickly and we were given helpful advice about what to choose. Friendly, under-bearing staff, very cozy and welcoming environment on the whole. You should make an effort to eat here.

Absolutely loved the dining experience at Babemba and had a great evening there. Brought the memories straight back to travels to west Africa with the authentic food and Malian/Senegalese music playing in the background. Babemba has all the essential west African dishes on the menu as well as a few twists. I had Froufrou to start, the peanut stew as my main and the mango creme for dessert. It all totally hit the spot! The wait for the food was not long at all. Towards the end of the evening, we had a nice chat with the lovely owners. Babemba is a wonderful and unique addition to Gothenburgs otherwise quite predictable restaurant offering. Do something different and visit...
