Sushi Mafia — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

I honestly never write reviews, but I just have to for this place. I must. This place is absolutely amazing.

I’m Korean, and I’ve been to many incredible sushi restaurants in Korea and Japan. To be honest, most sushi places in this country are the worst of the worst, so I went here without any expectations. But I was completely blown away. Honestly, it was even better than most sushi restaurants I’ve tried in Korea, Japan.

In Korea, there are many salmon sushi specialty restaurants, but I truly think this place is far better than any of them. The sushi here is unbelievably soft, fresh, and literally melts in your mouth.

If you want to experience sushi that rivals the best in Korea or Japan, you don’t need to fly there!!! just come here. The quality here is genuinely much higher than many omakase sushi restaurants I’ve tried, without exaggeration.

Food was immaculate at a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE.The "Express Kassa" really is something innovative in a non chained fast food restaurant.The "Premium Lax" is a must take as one can taste the freshness of the salmon.I also highly recommend the Mix 2 as the Cream cheese maki really compliments with the Truffle maki, making it the same but also different feeling after each bite.Staff was extremely friendly and even gave us free drinks on the house.Highly recommended to come here for a either a date or just a cheap and casual bite as the environment is suitable for both 😊.Will be returning for more in the...

The fish is very fresh (I have only visited one other sushi place in Gothenburg that has fish this fresh and that is Bizen Sushi in Lundby) and the shrimp is so fresh the texture is almost crunchy. The chefs at Sushi Mafia create innovative combinations of flavour and texture, leagues better than what you get in most other places in the city. The locality is sparingly but tastefully decorated, sound volume is at a reasonable level and prices are good.
