Great food, but disappointing service from the supervisor

The food here is really good—great taste, good portions, and nice quality. Most of the waitresses are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience enjoyable.

But unfortunately, the supervisor (who is an Indian) has a rude attitude, especially towards Indian customers. My friends and I have noticed that he often finds ways to annoy us, mostly by asking us to move seats if he thinks he can rearrange tables for larger groups. It feels like he doesn’t really care about customers because the place is already busy and doing well.

Good food is important, but so is the way customers are treated. I strongly believe that the supervisor needs training in basic interpersonal skills to ensure all customers feel valued and respected. A good dining experience is not just about food but also about how you’re treated.

I would love to keep coming back for the food, but the service experience definitely needs...

Had a horrible service experience here a while ago. The staff informed me that one of the dishes could not be made vegetarian with quorn, so I opted for another dish instead. When I got home I realized it was made with chicken. When calling the restaurant they tried to blame me for not being clear enough when ordering, after which they demanded I bring the chicken dish back to the restaurant in order to get a new dish (??? Good service would be to just offer to make a new dish.) After many takes and turns my husband goes to pick up the new dish at the restaurant, where they make it very clear that they are suspicious of us and keep arguing about the whole thing, eventually "letting" us keep the chicken dish none of us want either way as a "gift". I’ve visited masala couple of times and few branches, and while the food has been decent on this one, the service is always rushed, as if they can't wait for you to leave. My latest experience was the worst yet. I requested a delay in serving my main course because I was still finishing my starters, but instead, they placed it on another table and never even bothered to serve it to me. I felt like I might as well have ordered takeout.

To make matters worse, we overheard the staff discussing how they were pushing the main course out before we finished our starters, completely disregarding my request - extremely disrespectful staff. The food didn’t deliver this time either, which only added to the disappointment.
