Masala Zone — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Extremely poor hospitality. You don't behave like this to your customers. It was last working day of one of our friend and we thought to have lunch outside. We thought to go bit late as we had breakfast quite late in the office. We were all not very hungry so instead of ordering regular plate we thought to order pizzas. We didn't even go for salad thinking it is not part of the pizza. When our pizza arrived and we picked our first slices the staff/ may be owner came towards our table and threw sarcastic comments, I stopped and reminded him that you don't behave like this to your customers. Then he asked to buy third pizza as we were three people. Even though we were not having buffet, we were not sharing platters...it was just pizza we paid for and now its our wish how we eat it. He went on saying wrong things about Indian people when he himself is from India(at least I thought so). We told him that there are plenty of empty seats as it was not rush hour plus try anywhere who sells pizza..these is not a condition with pizza at least that you can't share. In fact pizza is a meal to share. We were so disappointed that we had to threw the slices which were in our hand and leave the table in the middle of our lunch. What more bad it can be when you have spent money and you get this in return. Such a shame. I will never go to this place again in my life and will discourage to the ones who wants to go there with...

I have just ordered a paneer butter masala, chicken butter masala and a few other items. I'm my experience working in Indian kitchens is that this was not butter masala and fare from it. The price and portion size is ridiculous as you can see in the picture I have less then half a block of cheese and almost an entire container of sauce. Either your chefs need to put more paneer in the sauce or put less sauce for the price, Also learn to cook a masala sauce. NOW I'm not saying it tasted bad because it was actually not that bad but it wasn't a masala. The rita on the other hand was terrible. Again back to my experience I worked in a fine dining Indian restaurant for 2 years and have eaten enough Indian food (living in the uk) to know how it should be (western culture) For people expecting any sort of Indian food I wouldn't recommend it to be honest its more of "oh this has less of a waiting time" and...

This restaurant has very bad service specially hospitality. As its near to volvo group offices, people prefer this place, however we had very bad experience. We were 3 people and ordered 2 pizzas which were enough for 3 of us.(As we had heavy breakfast.) We did not want to waste food and not even wish to affect them in business hours, so we went around 12:45 when there were plenty of empty seats. When we started to eat, the staff came to us and sarcastically commented which really spoiled our mood. He insisted us to buy the 3rd pizza which would have been a waste for us. Finally, we had to leave the table in the middle of our lunch. Very bad...
