It's existed for as long as the man made island of Hisingen have had settlers. It's really quite the unique experience since most sights like these have been commercialized or taken advantage of by businesses.

The mountain is currently known as "Ramberget" (Roughly translates to "The mounting of casing frame") but before that and for a much longer period of time; "Ravens mountain" / "Korpberget" in Swedish.

According to the history books a place used for Which trials in the dark ages.

Without a doubt one of the most unique spots to visit with a complete view, possibly the main cause for naming the road leading up to and from the top, to "Panoramic road" or "Panoramavägen".

Our go-to park in Gothenburg. Home of Ramberget where you can get an excellent view of the harbor as well as the city centre. Please note there are opening hours for the road and access by car or bus. At the time of writing, gate closes at 22.00. Road is also closed wintertime and you'll be thankful it is as it is mostly covered in thick ice then.

Only negative is far too many park visitors leave their trash just outside their car and all around even though there are plenty of trashcans around for once. So please, throw your trash in the available bins or bring it with you if you're too lazy to get out of the car. Or fear the wrath of...

Just Amazing...! Must visit place in Gothenburg.It is mountain about 85 Meter,so you get amazing view point of Gothenburg city.Take enough time to be there.Best time to go there is around 4 PM I'm summer so you don't miss the sunset.Go with children but take care of them because there is no fencing wall,and it can be dangerous out there.You can take your car to the top point of it.There is a really beautiful garden and viewpoint which is best for photography. There are benches and sitting arrangements so many people also enjoy meal over there. Summer and autumn is best time to be there...
