Unbelievable Treatment for Loyal Customers at Ostindiska Olskroken!

I've been a loyal patron of Ostindiska Olskroken for years, and I am deeply disappointed with the rude and unwelcoming experience my friends and I had during a recent visit. We chose to celebrate my friend's birthday there, and had a small cake to surprise her. When I politely asked the bartender to store the cake in the fridge for us, I was met with an unbelievably rude response.

The bartender aggressively told me that bringing our own food was not allowed!!! even after I explained the situation and our intentions to dine and drink there. This tiny cake was not meant to replace their food, but simply to mark a special occasion for a loyal customer. The staff's complete lack of understanding and empathy was shocking and appalling.

Despite this unwarranted hostility, we still spent 5000 kr that night, only to be treated with disdain. This kind of conservative and inflexible behavior is a disgrace to the hospitality industry and leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of long-time customers like ourselves.

I am incredibly disappointed in Ostindiska Olskroken and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. If you're looking for a welcoming and understanding environment, I strongly recommend avoiding this...

Well, I have to say, I didn’t expect to get such a good vegan burger at a place like this. At a price point of only 119 SEK, it’s barely covering the raw ingredient cost of the thick Beyon Patty and the loads of fries. But the burger is actually quite good, better than most places I have been to, and oh boy, have I eaten a lot of vegan burgers. Most of them shady, but as a vegan you have to live with it sometimes. In any case, there is not much more to choose from, but at least you get something decent to eat while drinking a beer. Important though that the staff cooks through Beyond patties as well. One of ours was a bit uncooked from the inside, and even if it’s vegan, cook it through please.

We ordered from here just a few hours ago. It was a busy Friday evening, we were told to wait about 15 minutes for our food.

After about 35-40 minutes the waitress actually came up and apologize herself and asked if we'd like some extra dips and maybe a drink. We said we'd love a drink each and picked some dips.

The two of us later left with 4 cans of drinks and 4 extra dips AND a voucher for our next visit, essentially making it free, while she explained that something happened in the kitchen and that's why we had to wait.

If that's not customer service, I don't know what it is. Very friendly waitress and excellent service. Best part? The food was still fresh, very, very tasty and no mistakes were made in the order.
