Rakhang Thai Kitchen is your typical Swedish Thai place. Dishes have Thai names, but they have nothing or very little to do with the actual dishes, but are "Swedified" stews and stir-fries.

The ingredients are usually canned or frozen, but overall the price tag is very fair, so you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is definitely nicer than in most other Thai places of this type and if you are around and craving some random stir-fry, they will provide you with that. As an Asian, this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town. The food remains authentic and not overly Westernized. I specifically asked for the original taste, and they succeeded in delivering that experience. Highly recommend the Pad Krabao for its rich, flavorful sauce and the fried fish, which is crispy and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is cozy, with a mix of modern and Thai decor. I felt like being in Thailand! The food was delicious and the staff extremly friendly and attentive. The small restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I have rarely experienced such authentically good cuisine outside of Thailand. It's a bit out of the city centre, but it's definitely worth the way!

Little note: There is no English menu - maybe to bear in mind ;) But also here the staff was totally helpul with translation and...
