Ostindiefararen Götheborg — Attraction in Göteborgs Stad

The Gotheborg of Sweden ship was docked at London, Canary Wharf. We visited on Friday at 9:30am and the ship was packed! Once we entered the ship there was a queue inside to go up the top deck at the back of the ship which took about 20 minutes. You do get a chance to go down below deck to view the cannons and see the heart of the ship with its wooden frame. The Swedish representatives were friendly and helpful throughout. The ship is truly beautiful and the guys have done an awesome job in replicating the original. It's a shame the lack of organization resulted in queues and spoiled...

Rude staff. We went to see the ship more than an hour from closing time (closing time stated on website) only to get the gate slammed in our faces and a rude girl telling us they decided they won't stay open all afternoon, for no aparent reason at all. Not a nice experience. The ship looked nice but only saw it from a distance unfortunately. Maybe the organisers would like to change their website a bir to make it clear that the staff will and may close the gates whenever they feel like it, to not disappoint people visiting in...

Nice to visit and hear from one of the sailors the history of this ship. How they spend several months onboard. How they eat and sleep. And the way they work when they sail abroad. We enjoyed our time there BUT the tour onboard the ship was 20 or 25 minutes max. We were not allowed to stay longer.
