Backyard Visby — Restaurant in Gotland Municipality

Avoid this place. Very indifferent and rude personnel. We (a family) were waiting on the terras for the restaurant to be openend and were sent there by one of the waiters. When the restaurant opened, others were let inside before us. When we asked to be seated, they said "we were not in the right line" and should go back outside. The aforementioned waiter, after first trying to avoid our gaze, later simply denied ever having said to us to wait on the terras - "we should have chosen the line". There was no one when we arrived - we were the first - and he and his colleagues knew this very well. Unacceptable behaviour and a waste...

This place recently went through a face-lift and I have to change my review. The food is outstanding. The portions are the perfect size to fill you up without feeling bloated. It's now a full on sandwich place but these sandwiches are divine. I never knew what bacon marmalade was before I came here and now I can't get enough of it. If you're looking for a different kind of meal that is just sandwiches made to absolute perfection then I cannot recommend this place enough. Go there. Eat the grilled cheese and try the bacon marmalade. Keep going there until you've done the full menu and then go there again to eat...

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a delightful meal. The menu offered a wide range of dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite was a delight to the senses. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. A definite must-visit for food...
