Dalmansporten — Attraction in Gotland Municipality

Dalmansporten is one of the most stunning and historically rich spots we visited during our day in Visby while on a cruise. This gate is incredibly well-preserved and offers a powerful glimpse into Visby’s medieval past. Reaching an impressive height of 56 feet where the city wall climbs toward the upper slope, Dalman’s Tower and Gate once served as a key navigational aid for ships approaching the harbor. It's easy to see why—from its elevated position, you get sweeping views over the rooftops and out toward the sea. The stone archway, thick fortifications, and sheer scale make you appreciate how important and well-defended Visby once was as a Hanseatic trading hub. Dalmansporten is a very beautiful fortress. We came here on our Excursion from the cruise ship and we are lucky enough that there was a Renaissance Fair going on. Reverse walked around we got to see the camping area where all the people that were dressed up for the Renaissance lived. It is a very massive Fortress complex area. It has very beautiful views of the countryside and the ocean. Walking around the stone is like a big maze and there is so much to see. It's not as good as a drone, but a good location to see Gotland city (Visby) from a high hill. You can meet it by going up the stairs next to the church. There is a high probability that people will not climb because they are bothered by it or for other reasons. I also skipped it on my first visit and climbed it on my second visit, and this is the place that offers the best view. By the way, the houses behind the hill are so simple and pretty.

드론만큼은 아니지만 고틀란드 시내를 높은언덕에서 바라볼수 있는 좋은 위치. 교회옆에있는 계단으로 올라가면 만날수 있는 장소이다. 사람들이 올라가기 귀찮아서 라던지 다른이유로 올라가지 않을 확률이 높다. 나 또한 첫번째 방문 때에는 지나쳤다가 두번째 방문때 올라갔는데 가장좋은 경치 전망을 제공하는곳이다. 여담으로 언덕뒤에 있는 집들은...
