Backhaus Oceanhamnen — Restaurant in Helsingborgs kommun

5 stars as I really really love the OG Backhaus in the center and want to support them!

Personally I think the Backhaus in Oceanhamnen would get 3/5. The price range is more expensive than the one in the center, and with much less varieties of bakery to choose from. They might focus more on à la carte and wine in Oceanhamnen. However, I hope they maintain the quality of drinks and bakery anyway with this price range, the price is understandable since it might be expensive to be on an artifical island, but the quality should not be worse than their OG. Last time I ordered Chai Latte here, it was very simple - a bit sloppy, looked like something I can make at home with instant Chai Latte pulver, the drink was in room temperature, not warm enough, absolutely nothing to compare with the good quality Chai I always get in Backhaus Center. There is so much to improve!

A small, nice coffee shop in one of the newer parts of town. While this place hasn’t been around for very long, the name is well known, as it’s an extension of Backhaus in the city.

While this place isn’t as big as the original place, the location is much better. Especially if you want to sit outside. There are several tables, all overlooking the bridge over to central station.

That said, it might be harder to work with a computer here as there’s a lot of windows and light. Also, many tables are usable for laptop work.

I got a coffee and a bun. Unfortunately they don’t have the same wide assortment as the other place, but you still have a lot to choose from. And what I got was good.

Overall I’d recommend this place. But if you want to work, or have a wider assortment of bread and pastries, visit the original Backhaus instead. It’s just a 5...
