Restaurang Montmartre — Restaurant in Karlskrona kommun

I thought we were going to another restaurant but I was not disappointed. We walked into a cozy traditional Swedish ambiance atmosphere. We were greeted by the owner and presented to our table. After a bit of time looking at traditional Swedish art we were asked for our drink order and the menu. We had choices ranging from traditional food to a variety of fish, meat and pasta dishes. We started with an excellent pizza followed by a variety of dishes of excellent quality. We couldn't ask for better service the entire evening. Prices were extremely reasonable. We were twice during our stay in Karlskrona in the restaurant Montmartre and we were very happy with the food - everything tasted great; dishes were generous in size, and the prices are fair. Also the location on the terrace was very nice; the interior was a bit dark for our taste but still cozy. However, the organization of the payment system, and with that the allocation of new guests are abysmal. I am still surprised how an otherwise great place gets by with such an organization; this detail is embarrassing...

My favorite restaurant in Karlskrona. I've been a returning customer for years and I've never been disappointed. The food holds high quality at a rather modest price.

The interior can at a fist glance look a bit worn down but it's compensated by the art work at display all over the place. All art on display is from a private collection.
