Biobaren - a movie themed bar that specializes in hamburgers and beer, located next to an actual movie theater. They deliver on all fronts.

First of, the interior of the place. It's completely packed with movie posters, dolls, toys, cutouts - you name it. And that of course sets the mood a lot. Secondly, the beer selection is just massive and they also have their own. Thirdly, the burgers. Here we go.

I went for the Cheeseburger 2.0 - sort of a premium version of McDonald's cheeseburger, so it consists fantastic meat, a well baked bun, melted cheddar, a fried cheddar chip, white onion, pickels, ketchup and mustard. It was truly delicious, but my burger probably got too much mustard on as that really took over the sensation of the burger. I wanted it to taste cheesy, not mustardy. Still a great burger of very high quality.

Still THE best place for a burger in Karlskrona. A good burger place is the first thing I look for every time I visit a major city and Bio baren compares favorably with places like Space burger in Düsseldorf and Flippin' Burgers in Stockholm.

They have a great variety of burgers, both more standard, vegan and with special patties of pork cheek. Their experimental burgers have included ones with rhubarb compote and they are all great.

Had three sliders and the fitting beer sliders here. The burger sliders (Mini burgers) were awesome and showed what the real deal was about, asked for a variation of local IPAs for the Beer selection and got some very good samples by the bartender.
