Wonderful Italian fare with fresh ingredients. This restaurant is located within Ad Astra by Elite hotel. Recommend reservations if visiting on weekends especially Saturdays.
OUR MEAL:
STARTERS -
🔸️ CRUDO DI PESCE 🤩🤩🤩 Minimalist serving of fresh tuna, sea bass & thinly sliced salmon served with lemon emulsion & bergamot.
The salmon was the best tasting though ordinary like what you would find on a sashimi plate. The sea bass was the most dry of the three and did not have much taste.
🔸️ CARPACCIO DI MANZO 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Good starter of finely sliced beef that was flavourful when eaten with aged Wrångebäck cheese, grilled arugula aioli, green apple, bread crisp, olive oil and balsamico vinegar. The sweet, crunchy green apples added a nice bite.
MAINS - 🔸️ LINGUINE FRUTTI DI MARE 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 This dish was larger than expected. The thick tomato sauce with highlights of basil & lemon accompanied by fat strands of linguine pasta with small pieces of lobster claws and sweet gamberetti. I opted not to have any vongole or mussels.
The pasta was aldente but could have been a little softer but otherwise great preparation, generous, fresh ingredients and a hearty meal.
🔸️ ENTRECÔTE ALLA GRIGLIA 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The beef is succulent and rich in flavor and paired so nicely with a squeeze of lemon & browned butter. The truffle dip was hardly needed.
The summer vegetable salad plated with the beef was a garden of freshness and very enjoyable.
The parmesan french fries was ok when warm and crunchy but not so nice after it cooled and soft.
DESSERTS-
🔸️ LAVENDEL PANNACOTTA 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Soft, cold lavender flavoured Pannacotta topped with raspberries preserve. Very delicious.

Read moreVi trillade in på en relativt tom resturang, som sakta fylldes upp. Vi la vår beställning tidigt men fick se par runt om oss som anlände efter oss sätta sig, beställa och få in sin förrätt innan oss. Ingen i serveringspersonalen verkade ha koll eller bry sig om gästerna, ingen som hade uppsyn på vårt bord utan var bara riktigt kaos. När vi frågade hur det låg till med vår mat så skulle de kolla upp det, när de sedan går 15 minuter och vi behöver fråga efter förrätten en gång till så känner man sig lagom besviken. Förrätten anländer och vi får inga ursäkter eller förlåt utan känns mer som att vi får en axelryckning.
Förrätten var relativt smaklösa och tråkiga, men kan blivit påverkade av generella upplevelsen fram tills dess. Efter förrätten tänkte vi att de skulle ha koll på oss och se till att vi fick in huvudrätten i god tid, men då hade vi fel! För då fick vi istället vänta minst lika länge och även be om att få in huvudrätten också.
Huvudrätten var annars helt godkänt tillagad, inget superspännande, men gott. Auberginepurén till torskryggen var dock inte trevlig och hade gärna fått gå ett par rundor till av smakprovning innan...
