As civilized tourists, we have visited many restaurants in Sweden, but this is the first time we have been told by the owner, very rudely and loud enough for everybody else to hear, that we should "control the noise our one-year-old baby makes or else leave". Facts: (1) our hungry baby was already silent, chewing happily some bread; (2) the Swedish baby sitting at the next table was way noisier than ours, and both of them have a right to be, they are babies after all! (3) the level of noise they made was lower than in many other restaurants in Sweden. One can only conclude that the owner either dislikes babies...
