Miss Voon Skellefteå — Restaurant in Skellefteå kommun

We took the chance to come here on a regular Wednesday without a reservation, at 7pm. Most tables were empty, including the bar and the entrance tables. It took a good 5 minutes for someone to come and greet us only to be told that it was fully booked all night. We questioned this as the place seemed empty only to be told that we could have a drink in the bar. We came there for sashimi so we asked if we could eat in the bar. The hostess needed to go and ask if this was a possibility so we sat down at the big round table next to the bar and the hostess dragged her feet back saying that we could have some food there too. Then we had to ask to see the menu. ASK to see the menu. You'd think this is the first thing they would offer alongside some water. Then we asked if they had gluten free soy sauce as we're coeliacs, she dragged her feet again to go and ask her colleagues only to come back and say that they indeed do, except that they don't... It does contain wheat. That was our cue to leave. I can't review the food which I'm sure is fantastic, but the service is ABYSMAL. My friend went as far as to say that she has never made feel so unwelcomed. Come on! With these privileged views and location, you can do better than this! We ended up going to the sushi place in the Skellefteå torget (Japanese taste, run by wonderful people who were extremely accommodating). Just because a place seems fancy doesn't mean...

Disappointing visit. Service was subpar and not attentive enough. Food was okay but the menu was difficult to grasp and would have needed some indication of spicyness. Or else the waiter needs to have a more intricate understanding of the menu.

Food was way too slow with too long a wait between the small dishes. The waiter was abscent without leave for extended periods of time and placing a new drink order or getting more water was an entire project in itself.

On top of everything they gave us a receipt for SEK 6000 instead of SEK 3500 which we almost bitterly paid, until we noticed the errors on it. And the staff barely managed to scrape together an apology. I will not be visiting again...

Tried to go here for an important business dinner and just ended up embarrassed.

Super disorganized, took 4 hours to get through 3 dishes.... the bartender refused to make a drink for my customer, "an old fashioned" the waitress had to ask five times and it took over an hour to finally get it. Not once did the manager try to help any of the staff...
