Bistro Kajen — Restaurant in Stockholm

We have been visiting this area of Hammarby Sjöstad for some time now and this place has had its share of turnover. This time around we decided to try the new restaurant as it’s a great location with beautiful setting, especially in the evening for dinner. We had toast Skagen for appetizer, followed by the main course of mussels, oxfilé truffle pasta and fish. The mussels were very good, but instead of fries it would be better to get some bread to enjoy the sauce. The fish was okay; not a lot of flavor. And the pasta was also okay. The Skagen toast is also not the best that I’ve ever had but decent, slightly different from the traditional flavors. I tasted a bit more spice. The steak & mussels were delicious & fresh. The hamburger was average! The service was ok, you had to ask for everything and no regular check.
