Stora Blecktornsparken — Attraction in Stockholm

My family and I have always loved this park! It has great equipment upon which for kids to play. There are live animals including miniature pigs which my kids love. The best part about the park is the sledding hill in the winter. It is about a 200 meter ride with enough of an incline to be fun but not to be dangerous. This is a park that every kid who lives on the eastern half of Södermalm goes to regularly and loves. Yes, there are enough places for parents to sit down and you can buy coffee there on the weekend. I remember back in the late 1990's, how us kids from nearby areas used to go here and hang out, drink beer, yeah, all that usual stuff young teenagers do. Now, just yesterday, I went here with my lady and our six year old girl. She had a real blast, and so did we. This park is my favourite in Stockholm. It's big and has lots to do, both for the youngest and for the older kids. There are a few animals to look at as well. In winter they put up a sleigh and there's a good slope so you can bring your own snow racer or mattress (fun for both adults and kids).
