Fern & Fika is exactly what a café should be—cozy, welcoming, and serving a proper espresso. The espresso here is spot on—rich, dark, and perfectly balanced. No burnt notes, no unwelcome sourness, just a smooth and bold shot that’s surprisingly rare to find in Stockholm. Many cafés struggle to deliver that deep, satisfying bitterness, but the barista at Fern & Fika knows exactly what she’s doing. Speaking of the barista, she is an absolute gem. Warm, attentive, and effortlessly kind, she makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. It’s not just about serving coffee; it’s about creating a space where you actually want to linger—and Fern & Fika does this perfectly. The café itself mirrors this warmth. The atmosphere is inviting, the decor is simple yet cozy, and there’s a sense of comfort that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. A place where both the coffee and the company are top-notch. Definitely...
Read moreThe people working at this place are very friendly, kind and they also seem to put a lot of effort in it but I see a lot of potential in improving this place. Because of the good reviews I had high expectations for this place. Especially because I find it a bit hard to find fully vegan places in Stockholm. So we decided to come for breakfast. The best thing we tried was the scrambled tofu sandwich. It was well balanced and tasty. The Tofu wrap was bad. The spinach was fresh but the tomatoes tasted quite acidic and they also looked a bit old. The tomatoes were on the bottom of the wrap which made the whole thing very wet and soggy. It fell apart while eating. The avocado bread was okay but also the garnishing looked not fresh. For a basic dish also not good. To drink we had coconut cappuccino but they must have burned the milk frothing it so also the taste...

I got the same thing again, now with a thing layer of foam. After all it turned out that the owners decided to make their own version of a flat white when customers complained it’s too small and rather than explaining that what they want is basically a double shot latte, they decided to confuse all the other people who actually want a flat white. This didn’t matter to my boyfriend who’s not a coffee snob like myself, but I’m case you’re like me, make sure you specify your order as detailed as possible to avoid the mismatch between execution and...
