I visited Tezukuri Sushi for lunch today with 3 friends. We all ordered and paid at the same time. Then we waited — and waited. It took almost 40 minutes before any food arrived, and even then, only my friends were served.
I hadn’t received my food, so I asked a staff member who said they’d be right back. A few minutes later, I tried again by waving at a server who was delivering food to another table. They nodded at me, so I assumed my order was on its way.
But nothing came. As my friends were nearly finished eating, I went back up to the counter to check what was going on. Instead of helping, they just pointed to the line of people ordering — as if I hadn’t already done that and paid.
At that point, I just wanted to leave. After waiting in line I asked for a refund instead of taking the food to go. They first offered me a handwritten note on a receipt saying I had three lunches owed. I declined and asked for my money back.
I had paid 155 SEK by card but was refunded only 140 SEK in cash. They didn’t even cover the drink I had while waiting for nearly an hour — for food that never came.
When service is this disorganized and dismissive, it really doesn’t matter how good the food is. I won’t be coming back — and I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreMy daughter ordered spider rolls, they were DROWNED in mayo and hot sauce. Which it did NOT say in the menu. (Why would you want to cover up all of the flavor in mayo and hot sauce anyway?... can you atleast write that in the menu??...) When I told the waiter, he told me that we should have requested it without the sauce. I tried to tell him that the menu did not say it included mayo and hot sauce all over it, (not even a part of the dish...) then he still insisted it was my fault. I ended up giving her my food to eat and ate nothing myself. I go to pay and the cashier asks us how the food was I reply "too much sauce, not good" he insists on giving us more spider rolls on our way out, to take home, we kindly refused since she had already eaten my food (I do not eat seafood). He suggested that she should get free rolls "next time" instead of fixing the issue there, so I still paid full price even though we asked the waiter to take the food away from the table on the 2nd roll (she couldn't stomach it). There won't be a next time. We specifically went there for her sake because she loves sushi and she was extremely...
Read moreHow this place has 4 stars I don't know. Went here a few months back as it came recommended from a local. Ordered Chirashi don (assorted fish over sushi rice) and it was almost inedible. There were grey discolored fish pieces, various fish and processed seaweed "salads" that were also topped onto the Chirashi. The kicker was (and now I know this is apparently a thing in all Swedish "sushi" restaurants) a healthy portion of Kimchi in the Chirashi as well. When the owner came to check on us he could tell I wasn't happy with the dish and, to his credit, attempted to offer me something else to eat. But I had no appetite at that point. He asked me if I had ever been to Japan (which I have) and then tried to convince me that this was a special type of Chirashi from the Kansai/Kanto region. Not buying it. Though they do put omelet and veggies on their Chirashi in Kansai this was an abomination and, as said earlier, with fish that was truly past it's prime. He gave us an orange at the end of the meal and promised us a free dish next time we came in, so I'll give him that. Btu we won't be taking him up...
