Read moreI dined at Alba i Mariefred and had a delightful experience. The restaurant has a charming ambiance with warm lighting and tasteful decor that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. A lot of effort have been placed at selecting and arranging the flowers on the outdoor patio among with all the other nice furnishings.
The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly and attentive. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
For our meal, we ordered the shrimp pasta and a seasonal pizza. The pasta was awesome, and the pizza was really something extraordinary with pumpkin!

Read moreWe came to eat lunch after a visit to Gripsholm Castle. It is a nice an cozy place (seemed to be the choice for locals also) with a nice decoration and really nice service. We ordered the köttbullar (the typical Swedish dish) and the skaldjursgryta (a stew with fish, muscles and shrimp) and both dishes were absolutely amazing!! VERY tasty. We were very happily surprised (since we didn’t know the place) and enjoyed a delicious meal with a nice IPA from a brewery nearby (Stallarholmens), followed by some coffee with a little chocolate as a treat. Dishes are around 160kr each which is a very good value for price compared to Stockholm prices and considering the quality and tastiness. We really recommend this and will definitely come back....
