Fine food and pleasant atmosphere. The owner gave us a worm welcome. I immediately realized the reason for the restaurant name in German. The small establishment in fact had plenty of brownish old pharmacy jars and bottles placed everywhere used as lamps or decorations.
The dishes were prepared and served with attentive care and gastronomical knowledge.
I willingly accepted the wine suggestion for a bottle of Swiss Pinotage. At first taste it resulted very interesting and accompanied the meal with smooth elegance.

Ordered lamb rack. Sauces were interesting. The meat was cooked properly but nothing out of the ordinary. The potatoes gratin was surprisingly horrific as well the vegetables.

There is a small, triangular dining room with a small bar. Seems lots of local hang out here.
Nicely decorated and welcoming. Windows allow you to see the swift river race by.
One server made a few small mistakes with our order but the other server more than made up for it.
The leek risotto with sausage was fantastic as was my daughter's burger.
