The food was so good, we came back a second time during our short stay in Andermatt! The dish that blown us away? The Alplermagronen: penne with cream, bacon served with apple puree and roasted onions. It's my personal preference not to add the puree into the pasta to avoid mixed sweet and savory taste. But the dish alone was awesome. Pizzas were great too.. Crust was crispy, ingredients were fresh.. Couldn't have it any better. Meals can't be complete with a Panache or a beer! The food was tasty, but the service/attitude wasn’t what it’s cracked up to be. A guy(or the owner) welcomed us in a friendly manner. But a young lady treated us differently from the way she did other western people. —acting WAY more jolly, enthusiastic. That’s hilarious. I’m not quite interested in what those stereotypes are about Asians, though. Merely curious that have you really been out of your country (or maybe Europe)?!

Unlike most restaurants in this town where they know they have a captive group of patrons due to limited choices in the small village, this place actually still cares about providing good service and good food. They went out of their way to make a special meal for my girlfriend, and were extremely helpful and attentive. Good music in the background. Good vibe. Great drink recommendations and great experience. Thanks!

Outstanding service and food - plus some of the cheapest 5dl beers in town! Visited twice in two days thanks to the service and food.

Very friendly staff that are quickly and helpful - they speak English, Italian, and German (and probably much more than my ears can pick up).

Food was super - had their Beef Bouillon Soup, Garlic and Olive Oil bread, Alplermagronen (insanely good, other reviews are right) and a delicious ciabatta sandwich. All of the food was quick, delicious, and generous portions.

Great drinks! 5dl on tap is 6.5/7 CHF, wines start at 6 CHF. Mixed drinks are also affordable.

Atmosphere is also excellent. Really, you can’t go wrong....
