Olives d'Or — Restaurant in Bad Ragaz

the restaurant is nicely located and is very well designed..

the menu is quite extensive, which probably makes it hard for the kitchen to do every dish to perfection. the quality of the food is perfect, sadly the preparation is lacking behind the standards of such a location. the different dishes have all been either quite tasteless or they had one predominant taste (e.g. the whole dish just tastet like hazelnuts) instead of a well balanced journey of the taste. After having in total 18 dishes we would wish the kitchen reduces it's menu and focuses more on the preparation of the otherwise perfect ingredients.

My grandparents and I were enjoying the saturday buffet, the variety and quality of food were great! The ambiente is very fancy and sophisticated. The funny part: We booked our table in a different restaurant in the same building and there was a huge confusion, since we booked a 2 for 1 special in the other restaurant. But Olives d'Or didn't have that special. They were very polite and professional about the situation (which was a confusion on our side). 04 February 2025 I traveled to Bad Ragaz, I visited Tamina Terme and the Olives d'Or restaurant. I thank the waitress Anja Eggendorfer and the chef Agam Unterreiner who created an exceptional atmosphere for me and a pleasant surprise, since it was my birthday that day. The dishes were delicious, the wine was excellent, the dessert was wonderful and the service was attentive and pleasant. Beautiful hall, I was greeted with care and said goodbye kindly.
