A Culinary Gem in Bad Ragaz – Restaurant Rössli
I have had the pleasure of dining at the Rössli in Bad Ragaz many times, both for business events and private occasions, and it never fails to impress. Chef Ueli Kellenberger leads the kitchen with exceptional skill, offering a menu that is not only of the highest standard but also refreshingly honest and authentic. His seasonal menus are always a delightful surprise, showcasing the best of what the region has to offer.
The restaurant’s accolades speak for themselves, with 16 points from Gault Millau and three "FFF" recognition from Der Feinschmecker magazine. However, what truly sets the Rössli apart is the warm, familial atmosphere combined with the consistently high quality of both food and service. This is a place where gourmet dining meets genuine hospitality, making it a favorite for both food lovers and connoisseurs.
The wine selection is another highlight. With over 500 wines on offer, ranging from international classics to hidden regional gems from Bündner Herrschaft, wine enthusiasts are in for a real treat. The 6-course tasting menu, paired with expertly chosen wines, is an unforgettable experience. Ueli Kellenberger’s knowledge of wine is evident in the rare finds from his cellar, making each pairing a true masterpiece.
In the past, I have hosted seminars with over 40 attendees at the Rössli, and the restaurant provided a customized 4-course menu that perfectly matched the occasion. The pre-dinner aperitif on the beautiful terrace added an extra touch of elegance to the event, and the attention to detail was impeccable.
During my most recent visit, which was purely for a private dinner with my wife, the Rössli once again managed to surprise and delight us with its culinary highlights. Each course was an exquisite combination of flavors, and the service was, as always, outstanding.

Read moreWe absolutely loved this restaurant and felt so well taken care of from the moment we arrived.
The selection of local wines was fantastic. We truly enjoyed trying the different varieties. The food was incredible. My favorite dish was the shrimp soup, it was unexpectedly delicious and packed with flavor. If you like coconut, you must try it!
The veal strips with buttery noodles were also amazing, and the team kept offering us more, which was such a lovely touch.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would highly...
Sehr gute, hausgemachte Glace! Preis-/Leistung OK wenn man nur das...
