I love things uncomplicated. Easy. Simple. Down to earth. This place was exactly that. Exactly mine. The principle? Look it up online. Is it warm enough? Then go — but only when it opens. It’s a concept that makes you question how it even makes money. But that’s not my problem. It’s theirs. And it works. Really works. The pizza? Fantastic. I kept wondering — what’s the pasta like? You sit by the railway tracks. Very close. Like New Delhi-close. But no trains rush by. Just a distant hum. You walk in, order up front. Tracks, Tables, and Taste Pick a table. Grab a seat. Wait for your food. Eat. Enjoy. Leave. It’s all so easy. No fuss. No frills. Nothing to impress. Nothing fake. I loved it. Absolutely perfect.

I like trains and beer. So you know I am biased. But this is a great place. I love the lush green setting, and the separated tables by the tracks. To bad it is not a busy stations and you only gotta see some SNCF service to France. Or at least I did. We had hummus and pizza, and I have to say it was exceptional. Thin crust Italian style and very tasty. I hope I got to come back to here in the future. Although I don't live in the city.

The best place in Basel! đŸ€€ If you want to eat delicious pizza from Italian chef and drink cold beer - this is the place ;) Besides amazing food this place gives ms amazing summer vibe + it’s in secret place so it gives intimacy and privacy😎 Also the owners are so warm and welcoming - do yourself a favor and chat with them - you won’t feel like another tourist (as in many restaurants in the center), but as a local guest đŸ©·

One word to describe this place - AMAZING! First of all the pizza is delicious. Every ingredient is really tasty, especially the dough which is super thin and crispy and the tomato sauce that just has that special „something”. Also they have a great selection of beer and other drinks. The place itself is super unique and beautiful - the hidden garden full of plants next to an old train station. Last but not least - the owners who are extremely kind and make you feel welcomed at their place. When in Basel you definitely have to come to...
