Bäckerei KULT - Volta — Restaurant in Basel

I love Bäckerei Kult, it's one of the few places that makes a good butter crossiant in basel, their bread is perfect and the cinnamon rolls delicous. Every day they have vegetarian and meat sandwich with interesting and tasty ingredients, Jared salads and a host of different sweets baked more in the French style than Swiss German. The space is large enough to accommodate a large group ( there is a table in the back that seats maybe 15 people. It's also kid friendly. I like the window into the kitchen too. Great Bakery for fresh pastry, Gipfeli, coffee and other things. I have tried quite a lot of their offerings and love the Almond Gipfeli. The place is located next to the tram stop and is easily accessible. The place is cozy and has good siting space. At the back of the bakery, there is a glass wall where you can see the artist at work baking fresh products.

Only down side is the price, it's bit on expensive side even with...

Very nice bakery with café, very friendly and attentive staff. There's a very lovely space inside where you can sit and have breakfast, brunch or a light (or if you want not so light 😉) lunch. In summer there is also a pretty and cozy space to sit outside. The bakery is good, especially some of the sweet pastry is yummy and also some of the salty stuff like for example the quiches or the (boar) "wurstwegge"...
