All of a sudden I found myself in Geneva just for a couple of days. I felt immediately attracted by the warmth of this place, coming out of the gloomy weather. My experience has been above expectations: a like home feeling yet professional and with quality. The quantity of people seated and coming in and out was confirming my thoughts. I had time to spend there and read my book. So I gave myself time to see what the chef was preparing and taste so many deliciousness. I’m a pizza lover so that was my absolute favorite. Parmigiana and the variety of vegetables were incredible. And coffee with a fair price and dessert were the deserved end to this time I dedicated to myself. Read moreGot literally blanked by a waitress while establishing what language she spoke (her colleagues spoke Italian, she only spoke french). Service at lunch is a total shambles (I was told "if you see a table free, you can order then go to the table". Got some food to take away. No offer to heat up arancini. Filling was poor. And to top it all off got an upset stomach from it.
There are many decent places to go to in carouge, maybe this one is decent on certain times and certain dishes, but it is patchy at best. A pity, because it looked like it...
