Extremely Disappointed with Wolfisberg Restaurant/Bakery in Carouge, Near Geneva.
I regret to say that my experience at Wolfisberg Restaurant/Bakery in Carouge near Geneva was nothing short of a nightmare. From the owner's lack of consideration for their employees' rights to the deplorable working conditions, this establishment has left a lasting negative impression on me.
First and foremost, the owner's failure to inform employees in advance about important matters, such as changes in schedules or policies, is utterly unacceptable. This lack of communication displays a blatant disregard for their staff's needs and creates unnecessary confusion and frustration within the team.
Moreover, one of the most concerning aspects of my time at Wolfisberg was the owner's refusal to properly compensate employees for trial days. It is both unethical and disrespectful to expect individuals to invest their time and effort without fair remuneration. This practice not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also raises questions about its integrity.
Furthermore, the absence of effective communication between the staff and the owner only exacerbated the existing issues. The lack of transparency and openness fostered an environment where lies were easily spread, leading to a toxic work atmosphere. Additionally, instances of bullying were distressingly prevalent, highlighting a complete disregard for basic human decency.
Lastly, the working conditions at Wolfisberg were outrageous. The neglect for ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees was evident. This includes inadequate training, insufficient resources, and an overall disregard for their well-being. It is disheartening to witness such disrespect towards hardworking individuals who deserve better treatment.
In conclusion, my experience at Wolfisberg Restaurant/Bakery in Carouge near Geneva was marred by an owner who demonstrated a lack of consideration for their employees' rights and well-being. The lack of proper communication, lies, bullying, and outrageous working conditions make it impossible for me to recommend this establishment. I sincerely hope that the necessary changes are made to improve the work environment and treatment of employees in the future. If there are any former employees reading this, feel free...
Read moreHad the bad surprise to have to pay my meal up to 8 CHF from the indicated prize and it wasn't even good. An address to avoid, except if you like feeling scammed. Shameful.
I ordered the Wolfiburger indicated at 16.- (without any other prize indication) et the receipt prized it at 24.- The only answer I received for taht was that it is the take-away prize. A majoration of 8.- (50% of the indicated prize) is not acceptable, nor decent.
By the way, the burger wasn't even good, too much sugar in the bread and a weird taste overall.
Excessif prize for an very average taste left me a strong feeling of having been scammed.
This is certainly the last time I go into a...
Read moreThe coffee is not good, even by Swiss standards. The milk on the cappuccino was poorly frothed and the coffee itself was unpleasant, weak; like something had accidentally spilled on the poorly frothed milk. Service was very slow, even if everything ordered was pre-prepared. How long does it take to bring out ham and cheese sandwich or a packed salad? It certainly wasn’t the quick bite we expected. It took over an hour to have coffee, some pastries and croque monsieurs (which were actually plain ham and cheese sandwiches, and not very good ones). Food quality was mediocre, like something you’d get on an airplane (economy class, to be clear). Oh, and a coke...
