Ristorante della Stazione Ponte Brolla - con alloggio — Restaurant in Circolo di Locarno

We were scouting for a hotel with a good price and a room that looked decent for an overnight stay around August 1, Swiss national day. We did this quite short term and our choices were limited. What attracted us was Ristorante della Stazione. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the price was acceptable. It was indicated though that the shower and toilet will be shared. I was torn about it, but decided to go for it, since they also have a parking area.||When we arrived, we were quite happy with our choice. Room was decent and clean as expected. And the fact that we are to share the toilet with others was still bothering me, since we now saw who we share it with. Still, everything as expected.||After dinner, we then set off to rest, and that's when the surprises began:||- no towels provided||- you cannot lock the shower/toilet||- worse: the bed was creaking and very bad for the back||I felt like the bed was going to break each time somebody moved. I could barely sleep. My companion could not sleep at all. Very early in the morning, we took off for the comforts of home. This didn't feel like...

Its position is in its name! This is right next to the station on the Centovalli line and there is a bus stop just up the hill. Parking is available over the road.||This is an attractive little village with other hotels and restaurants.
