This place is a bit unassuming, meaning that from the street it is a bit difficult to recognize. There is adequately parking available in front of the restaurant. The interior is functional going direction formal, but lacking a little bit of “personality”. (No plants, no candles) This is my subjective perception. The seating is comfortable with couch seating along the walls. We ordered spare ribs, hamburgers, rib-eye, and tomahawk. The meats came with side orders country style fries and ratatouille vegetables. The spare ribs were very juicy and cooked in an American resembling style: tender but not quite fall of the bone. They could have had a slightly more roasted/grilled finish. They were marinated with a tasty spice mixture but not in the typical “bbq spare ribs” style seasoning. Again highly subjective, but I prefer my ribs with a more common bbq sauce. On the table a bottle of precisely that kind of sauce did the trick for me and I would happily order and recommend this dish. At 38chf the ribs are a good proportion. The rib-eye was from the black angus variety. The meat was very good but I would recommend to order it unsalted, and ask for a but of rough grained salt on the side. Ordered medium, the rib-eye was served as asked. The tomahawk was ordered medium. The meat was tasty and perfect. Tomahawk is always a challenge to cook to perfection because of the varying meat thickness and consistency closer to the bone. In this case there were two small spots on the edge that were slightly overcooked. But it must be said I would not order it any other way, to avoid raw meat close to the bone. Here too I would next time order it unsalted, but definitely would consider ordering again. The hamburgers were presented on the menu in a choice of weight. We chose the 180gr (smallest). They were large and served with country fries but rather average in their presentation and taste. The meat did nit seem to be of the same quality perception as the other meats, and the patties felt a bit compact (similar to what you sometimes find in pre-prepared or pre-manufactured patties). Bacon, fried egg, cheese, avocado were available ingredients at extra cost. The description “country style fries” only applied to their shape because there was no flavoring or spices to make them taste any different from normal thick cut fries. The ratatouille vegetables were tasty and a nice change from side salads or boiled vegetables. The service was good but we did have to wait a bit long for the drinks to be served. We ordered some beers, cokes, and some sangria. When the cokes and beers were brought we were informed that the sangria was being prepared. The sangria felt home made so additional wait time was acceptable for those. The waitress was kind and always managed a smile. She was very generous and when she noticed my 9yr old didnt appreciate his burger she offered a dessert on the house. This gesture was fantastic, though I ultimately kindly refused because the dessert style was too “adult” for his liking. Nevertheless it is my opinion that three kind of gestures demonstrate a customer service oriented attitude which makes up a great part of the experience and goes a long way, ultimately making or breaking a place.

Is one of the more serious steak places and has added bonus of a big Tapas menu. Is a large space with various seating tables from 1 to 10+ people. Also has a very good bar and wine selection. The Steaks come from everywhere (Australia, Argentina, etc.), and there are different sizes for these cuts. The ambiance is a quiet Café-type setting with indoor and outdoor seating in a semi rural area. No traffic and loud vehicular noises. Well...
