GOURA'S Veggie Paradise — Restaurant in Emmen

If you are an Indian and in Lucern visit all mountains but do also come here on day 1 to eat and I bet you will come again. I tried 6 Indian restaurant all are below par so I went here on my last day of trip and regret eating only once. Joe and his mother Katherine were so polite and amazing. Food is fresh and taste awesome and prices are normal unlike other Indian restaurant asking fortune for a meal. I order thali and salad both were huge in portions taste is good and taste is simply amazing not like restaurants curries but simple sober and nice called satvik bhojan. It is amazed to see how come a non Indian cooked so great it is because Joe lived in India for 14 years and can cook better indian meals than many indians 😊

I am not a person who usually writes online reviews but I would love to share my wonderful experience in this restaurant along with my family. Perfect South Indian dishes with awesome taste especially Sambar made by Chief chef Joe. All the foods are very fresh and prepared in a healthy way. My highest recommendation for a dining place. The only place I would want everyone to visit and experience themselves, hence the only review ever. The best part are the people running the place. And their kindness flows in the food.

Now details: Ambience: calming, clean, you enter into the aroma of Indian food. Soothing music. Food taste: amazing, fresh prepared. The chef innovates his preparation. They make food without onion or garlic (my parents eat Jain food). I can't recall better tasting food outside of my home. The chef made chai which was out of this world. High quality food. Cost: 20-30 francs for 2. High quality experience. Worth it all and probably some more.
