Unfortunately, I left this place quite disappointed. I rarely write negative reviews — I usually prefer not to leave any at all — but in this case I feel it’s necessary to share my experience. I used to come here often on weekends before the major renovation in 2025, and I had always enjoyed it. The place had a simpler charm, and the quality matched the prices. While the new space is undoubtedly beautiful, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday and ordered a tartare — a dish that’s simple in theory, but easy to get wrong. From the start, the service was underwhelming: understaffed and noticeably unwelcoming. When my mother asked for a food menu, the response was abrupt and almost irritated, as if we had asked something inappropriate, even though we simply wanted to eat, not just drink. The worst part, however, was the food. The tartare had a strange orange color — possibly due to some odd seasoning like ketchup? — and it honestly ranked among the worst I’ve had in the region. The presentation was poor: the plate was visibly dirty with fingerprints and grease. Small details, yes, but they matter. It doesn’t take much to clean the edge of a plate before it leaves the kitchen. To make things worse, I had to wait nine full minutes for a small plate of butter after requesting it for the toast. I ended up eating out of hunger, trying to avoid further interaction with the staff. The spritz was decent, but noticeably smaller than what I used to get in previous years. It’s a real shame, because this was a place I often visited with family and friends. It used to be simple, but it always delivered. I sincerely hope things improve over time, as the potential is there. Ps:I suggest to do a little visit to ustria lags, for trying their tartare I think could give a good input.

Our experience was very smooth. The ambience was chill, yet sophisticated in what I call “Swiss Simplicity”. The minimalist deco conveys quality without getting in the way of the beautiful natural scenery the restaurant is inserted in. Our pasta was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing. I mean, look at the generous portion of truffle grated on our plates! The blueberry tiramisu stole the show amongst the desserts we tried, I highly recommend it. And service was timely, polite and there was definitely an effort to be cheerful, which we always appreciate. Would go back for sure!

Brand new restaurant near Flims that takes you a 20' walk (without elevator) through a cosy and at the same time spooky forest for getting there. Very nicely decorated and personnel was very friendly too. My daughter and I had baby spare ribs and they were just delicious! The wines also really good so we will certainly come back next year to see how they will be doing with a yr of experience in the backpack. Really good start! (Maybe one minor comment is the poor acoustics so quite noisy, probably little to do about it given the high ceiling)

No table service. The table where we seated (the only one available) had glasses from the previous guest and nobody took it away. The staff was totally rude: they don’t greet you, don’t thank, they barely talk. We ordered 2 cappuccini and a slice of cake (20CHF, after the 19CHF per person entry), needless to say it was overpriced and -to my taste- not that good. They don’t tell you anything so you’re left waiting, wondering where you have to go. My mom tried to take a trail to put the coffees and from the other side of the room there was a lady shouting that she can’t use that. Also another fun fact: they don’t even give you sugar with your coffee, you have to ask for it. The location is nice because the lake is pretty, but the restaurant is nothing special and the staff definitively should be a bit more mannered. I don’t recommend coming...

The Restaurant is located directly next to the caumasee, the view is amazing. During summer the occupation in the restaurant is usually high, takes about 10-15min to find a free seat. They have about 3-5 different menus you can combine (fried grated potatos, fries, sausages, chicken nuggets, spagetti), the as well have a lot of different deserts (cakes, pastry, ice cream) and a salad buffet. Pricing is above average and for some diahes high, 6 chicken nuggets are about CHF 15.- and a portion fries 8, drinks are about CHF 4.50 for a 5dl Bottle. Everything is fresh and house made (also the dersert). The entrance fee to access the restaurant and bathing area is CHF 12.- for adults. If you are not bathing (just eating or drinking something) each entrance ticket could be used (2017) as a CHF 4.- voucher in...
