A local recommended this hotel for our last minute ski weekend in Flims. We liked it. It is not smart, it could do with a little refurbishment, the pink hangings over the lights in the lounge may not be your cup of tea, you may not like dogs (well behaved) wandering around. You may want large rooms. You may want to be situated right in the middle of town. In that case this hotel garni (bed and breakfast) may not be for you.||||||On the other hand, the welcome is friendly, it is in a quiet location and the view from the windows is of woods and hills, but it's close to the ski shuttle bus stop which takes you to the ski lifts (and you can leave your skis and boots at the shop by the bubble lift overnight which makes life easier) . It's good to find a bath in Swiss hotels. It has a sauna. There is a family atmosphere. It's quite reasonable in price - the single room cost SFR110/night and single occupancy of a double room was SFR130. There's a supermarket nearby where you can buy your breakfast (if you don't want to pay SFR20 in the hotel) and each room has its own own kitchen to cook coffee and scrambled eggs or a four course dinner if you feel like it. The double rooms are done up in rustic swiss style with a table and four chairs. ||||One channel on the little TV in the room will show you views of the ski-slopes. This was encouraging when it was blue sky up the mountain and clouds all around the valley.||As luck would have it, there's even a microbrewery 50m away which serves great beer and (though you need to book in advance)...

Read moreHotel caratteristico dall'atmosfera calda e familiare.
