Chengdu — Restaurant in Fribourg - Freiburg

Great location and atmosphere! I was expecting a delicious meal and great service and was greatly disappointed in both. It took a while for us to be served as there was only one server. Although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, the server spent a great deal of time back in the kitchen.

Our food all arrived separately. Mine came first and was fair, by the time the last dish arrived, I had completed my meal! I was visiting from the US and my host wanted to treat us to a delicious local meal. Her dish looked nothing like the photos in content or arrangement. Instead of lumps of chicken breasts she received mostly bones and greasy skin. It was appalling just to look at. Some of the other members of our party tasted it and they found it disgusting. La pire expérience que nous ayons jamais eue dans un restaurant asiatique ! Points positifs : La propriétaire est sympa. La bière thaïlandaise était bonne et fraîche. NÉGATIFS: Le service était lent, l'attente était interminable pour commander boissons et plats. Nous étions quatre et nous n'avons pas pu manger ensemble car les plats n'étaient pas servis en même temps, les deux derniers étant arrivés longtemps après les autres. J'ai commandé le poulet épicé comme sur la première photo et j'ai reçu une assiette pleine d'os et de poulet effiloché avec une peau très grasse, au point de m'étouffer avec un os (voyez photos) ! Inutile de préciser que je l'ai renvoyé ! Tous les plats commandés étaient très décevants. Nous n'y retournerons plus jamais ! La nourriture était...

Das Essen war hervorragend! Es wirkt sehr authentisch und ist anders als sonstige chinesische Restaurants die ich kenne. Die Shrimps die ich hatte, waren frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Die Sauce dazu leicht mit feinen interessanten Nuancen. So stelle ich mir das Essen in China vor. Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich.
