ThaiMama — Restaurant in Horgen

This is a terrible restaurant. We ordered for the first time from here at 7pm with a 7:40pm order delivery estimation ovet Uber Eats. I called at around 8pm to ask where the order is and he Thai lady answered to say they had run out of multiple items we ordered and offered 4 Samosa and 2 drinks as a replacement. I accepted this not withstanding the value was less than what we had ordered. 30 minutes later (90 minutes after the order was placed) she called me back to say we should cancel the whole order as they have no courier available and they want to close: What a shambles. There are plenty of great Thai restaurants such as Ruen Thai and Ploy. I wanted to give a new one a chance:. Bad idea. Forget these people in Horgen. Anyone can run out of food or have a problem with a driver but don’t wait 90 minutes on a Sunday evening to inform the customer and offer no solution and not even a discount on a future order....

Very tasty food and large portions. We were going to ask for another main dish, but the very nice lady told us that it might be too much. She was right. We need to go back to try other options on the menu. We went for lunch on a week day and there were tables available without booking. Came back for a dinner with friends and tasted the currys: the green curry was my favourite (I love lemongrass), but the yellow curry...

My wife and I absolutely love Thai-Mama. Usually we get take-out but on the rare (and special!) occasion we have a baby sitter then we eat-in.
