Restaurant Bellevue — Restaurant in Ingenbohl

It was terrible! I wrote rarely negative reviews but this Restaurant had really worked for it. We were there on Pfingster Monday which is normally a day off for this restaurant but due to the public holiday it was open. Rahter they wouldn’t be. Perhaps they had a jump-in chef or I don’t know but the food was just terrible from the kitchen. We had to wait 2 hours to serve the main course, 1,5 hour wait until the starter. The stuff didn’t even appologiezed for the huge delay. Every table were served so slowly on the terasse. The waitress were not nice and not very kid friendly either. The starter was okay (salmon tatar) but the veal Cordon Bleu… worst meal I ever had. The so called local fries were so over baked that is has no potato taste just oil and had only a fries shell but inside totally empty. And was cold as an extra. The veal was dried out and swim in oil. The vegetables on the plate were really said to be killed by this chef. Water taste only.

This restaurant should get a lot better chef if they wan’t to deserve the price they asking for their meal. For 2 bottle of water 2 slmon Tatar and 2 Cordon Bleu we paid 165 CHF without...

Vom Lieblingsrestaurant zur herben Enttäuschung – wie schade!

Das Bellevue war für mich über Jahre hinweg ein ganz besonderer Ort. Ich habe es geliebt – die Atmosphäre, das Essen, der aufmerksame Service. Es war mein Go-To-Restaurant, ob für entspannte Abende oder besondere Anlässe. Umso trauriger, was sich dort inzwischen verändert hat.

Seit dem Besitzerwechsel hat sich die Qualität spürbar verschlechtert – sowohl im Service als auch in der Gesamtstimmung des Hauses. Mein letzter Besuch hat das leider deutlich bestätigt.

Zunächst wurde ich noch freundlich von einem Herrn empfangen, doch danach nahm das Chaos seinen Lauf. Bedient wurde ich von einer neuen Mitarbeiterin, die weder die Abläufe kannte noch die Sprache richtig beherrschte. Anstatt souverän zu bedienen, erzählte sie mir, dass sie ganz neu sei und „gar nicht wisse, wie das geht“. Ich sollte ihr beim Eingeben meines Burgers in das Kassensystem helfen. Das war mir ehrlich gesagt unangenehm – ich kam als Gast, nicht als Aushilfe.

Als der Burger endlich kam, fehlte die Sauce für die Pommes. Auf meine Rückfrage hin hieß es lediglich: „Wir haben nur Ketchup und Mayo“ – diese wurden dann in kleinen, billigen Plastikbeuteln serviert, die sich nicht mal ordentlich öffnen ließen. Die Bedienung versuchte, die Tütchen mit bloßen Händen aufzureißen – ein unprofessionelles Bild, das man als Gast lieber nicht mitansehen möchte.

Noch unangenehmer wurde es, als ich mitbekam, wie sich am Nachbartisch ebenfalls Gäste über den Service beklagten – zurecht. Die Mitarbeiterin reagierte mit Grimassen und patzigen Kommentaren. Kein Einfühlungsvermögen, keine Lösungsorientierung, keine Spur von Gastfreundschaft.

Ich hätte das Bellevue nie mit einem Schnellimbiss verglichen – aber was hier geboten wurde, war in puncto Service nicht mal auf Fast-Food-Niveau.

Ich schreibe diese Bewertung nicht aus Boshaftigkeit, sondern aus ehrlicher Enttäuschung. Es ist so schade, wenn ein ehemals wundervoller Ort durch schlechte Führung und mangelndes Personal so an Qualität verliert. Ich hoffe, dass sich das Blatt noch einmal wendet – aber bis dahin war das mein...

Its directly at the lakeside and offers a very nice view to the lake. Prices are ok but staff is very forgettable. We ordered coffee, tea and some desserts and were only 4 people, but only some desserts were delivered and even after another staff member asked us if everything is fine dnd we told them that some desserts were not delivered, we had to reorder the desserts after a pretty long while again, while the other guests which arrived long after us were all served already and two of us did finish coffee and desserts in the meantime. It took another 15min until the delivered the remaining desserts, in total more than 1 hour until everything was served. Deserts were delicious, but service...
