Hokaido Chailly — Restaurant in Lausanne

I used to go here almost every day for lunch before I moved and this is by far the best sushi place in Switzerland. Maybe in all of Europe. The salmon is incredibly fresh and they kill it every time with the sushi rice. The menu g is spectacular (esp w two salty soy sauce packets mixed in) and might be the best dish I’ve ever been served. All the other sushi places have absolutely nothing on Hokkaido. The workers are extremely talented and the sushi is basically always fresh, on the rare occasion that it isn’t fresh, it hasn’t been sitting around for more than 30 mins. This is a place I will take my wife for our first date together. The one complaint I will have is that the drinks used to be included with the menu, but with the amazing price I will always pay extra for the sweet green tea. All other sushi places in Switzerland are rarely fresh, and very expensive. These guys are the best. But please don’t go here, I don’t want a bunch of people to be in line every time I go. L'atmosphère du Take Away est froide (certainement à cause des gros néons de lumière froide au-dessus des tables) et ça ne donne pas envie de manger sur place. Pas beaucoup de variété végétalienne. Ajouter un choix avec du poivron, de la mangue et autres légumes serait le bienvenu. Le personnel est très aimable et sympa. Cependant, un gros hic au tableau ! Ils - elles ne parlent pas français pour la plupart et c'est embêtant parfois. J'ai demandé à parler à quelqu'un qui comprend le français et malgré cela les deux personnes à qui j'ai fait la demande ne m'ont pas répondu. Il et elle me regarde puis hoche la tête pour me faire savoir qu'il et elle m'écoute... mais au vu des erreurs dans ma commande, j'ai vite compris qu'il et elle n'avaient rien compris.
